April Fulton left Capitol Hill in 2005 to pursue her own path as a freelance writer. After several years working as a journalist, writing for newspapers, trade publications and a political magazine, she went into business for herself.
"I wanted to be the kind of writer that sets my own pace in order to delve deeply into stories that interest me," she says.
April is also spending more time with her son and practicing her domestic goddess skills. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, reading, and running through the sprinkler.
